ISO 50.001
ISO 50001 is an international standard developed by ISO (International Organization for Standardization or International Organization for Standardization), which establishes the requirements for the establishment of an energy management system. This regulation is applicable to all types of companies and organizations, large or small, whether in the public or private sector, whether they are engaged in the provision of services or the development of products and equipment.
The objective of ISO 50001 is to promote energy saving, energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in balance with the improvement in competitiveness and quality of processes.
